Programme Structure

  1. Onboarding and Goal Setting (Month 1)
  • Personalized Assessment: At the beginning of the programme, participants undergo a comprehensive business skills assessment, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas of interest.
  • Goal Mapping: Each participant collaborates with their EIR coach to define specific, measurable goals. These goals may include starting a new venture, scaling an existing business, entering new markets, or succession planning for a family business.
  1. Strategic Business Planning (Month 2-3)
  • Business Model Innovation: Participants work on refining or creating their business models. Using proven frameworks like Lean Canvas, the EIR coach helps them define value propositions, target audiences, and revenue models.
  • Market Research & Validation: A key focus during these months is conducting thorough market research to validate ideas. Participants are guided through competitor analysis, customer discovery, and testing assumptions in real-world scenarios.
  1. Hands-On Business Development (Month 4-6)
  • Customer Acquisition and Sales Strategies: Participants learn practical sales techniques, lead generation, and customer acquisition strategies tailored to their business context. This stage involves developing marketing plans, content strategies, and online/offline sales funnels.
  • Building Teams and Culture: For entrepreneurs building their first teams or taking on family business leadership, this phase covers team-building strategies, organizational design, and fostering a company culture that supports innovation and growth.
  1. Financial Mastery and Investor Relations (Month 7-9)
  • Financial Planning and Management: Participants learn to manage cash flow, understand financial statements, and create financial projections. This equips them to make informed financial decisions, ensuring the sustainability of their ventures.
  • Access to Funding & Investor Relations: Whether seeking external investment or managing family resources, participants receive coaching on pitching to investors, negotiating deals, and securing funding. For family businesses, this may involve intra-family investments or accessing new growth capital.
  1. Scaling and Growth Strategies (Month 10-12)
  • Growth Hacking: This phase focuses on strategies to scale a business. Participants explore tools and techniques to grow their customer base, optimize operations, and enter new markets efficiently.
  • Leadership Development: Participants work on developing the leadership skills necessary to guide a growing organization, including decision-making, delegation, and navigating challenges such as scaling pains and market shifts.

Programme Delivery

  • One-on-One Coaching: each participant receives dedicated coaching sessions with the Entrepreneur In Residence. These sessions provide personalized guidance on overcoming individual business challenges and achieving their specific goals.
  • Real-World Business Projects: participants engage in hands-on projects that apply the coaching lessons to real business situations. Whether launching a new product, entering a new market, or managing a family business transition, these projects serve as practical tests of their skills.
